Service Description

Find yourself in the middle of nowhere, where heaven meets earth. Hugging the borders of northeastern Oregon and western Idaho, is the deepest river gorge in North America, where the Snake River courses to the Columbia. Between Hells Canyon Dam and Oxbow Dam there is a stretch of river that is essentially a reservoir with little current. Beautiful, remote, and rugged, there are coves, side canyons and islands to explore. This is a camping expedition, where we will stay at Big Bar, located along the Snake River in Hells Canyon, which is a dispersed campground with no formal parking or camping units. We will share expenses.
