- North Waldo Lake Campground
A crisp, clear, natural alpine lake in the Cascades, Waldo Lake is the second deepest lake in Oregon. Like Crater Lake, the largest lake, Waldo Lake is ultraoligotrophic (having extremely clear water with very little organic material). On a clear day, you can see 120 feet below. We will be camping at North Waldo campground, swimming before or after every meal, and enjoy the bounty of Oregon produce at the height of the harvest. Potential mushroom hunting, and day hikes, bicycling, and paddling. Field trips to other lakes nearby are optional. Only 10 spots available. Includes camp site fee, Safety Escorts, and prepared meals. Does not include camping equipment. Must carpool, each campsite is limited to one vehicle; we have two vehicles total. $300 per person for 2 nights/up to 6 meals; $400 for 3 nights/up to 8 meals; $500 for 4 nights/up to 11 meals. Dietary requests honored.
