Service Description

The Willamette Wild Swim is a downriver swim in the swift moving waters of the Upper Willamette River. You will be accompanied by eagles, herons, and trout as the river meanders through breathtaking farmland. Swimmers and their Safety Paddlers will work their way down the fast moving river, dodging snags, rocks, and avoiding sand bars. A truly adventurous swim, participants will want to stop to admire the wildlife, and might need to walk if the water gets shallow. Wetsuits are optional, swim buoys and swim shoes are mandatory. This swim is for experienced to expert level open water swimmers.
